The initial style of the comic characters was my son’s preferred style, he wasn’t happy about the characters redesign.

Son: I like the old ones better.
Dad: I understand how you feel, the old ones looked more like we are…
Dad but what i’m doing is a comic, nothing serious, so, it is supposed to look funny.
Dad: like cartoons do, not like us, real people. because we’re real, and they aren’t, ok?
Son: …I guess so.
Dad: yeah right, you are the real ones.
